In-app purchases are not working with the beta. There is an issue with the Google and Samsung wallet.  I've been able to make tap purchases with the Samsung wallet with a card already in my wallet

Generally speaking, Google Pay always stops working during every beta test.

It's unfortunate, and it does get resolved on the final release, but until then you'll usually need to use Samsung Wallet during all Betas.

During beta program, the software is not yet certified by Google, and therefore Google Wallet, Pay and other secure services may not work. We apologize for the inconvenience and will post a notice once it becomes certified by Google. You may try again at that time.
