One of the new features of Android 17 is the new location permisson indicator in the top right when an app is using location. I'm supposed to be able to tap it to see what app or service is using location in the background. However I can't seem to get it to pop up and show me what is using it when I tap it. I can click it several times and it doesn't do anything. Am I missing something or do I need to report it as a bug?

It's not new; they just changed the color. The tap thing is new, and it's not working. ๐

It is new. Before it was only when the camera (green) and microphone (red i think?) were being used. Showing when location being accessed is a new feature of Android 17. This is per Google. Either way though, it's not working when you tap it.
