Lock screen notifications

Anyone else having issues reading the notifications on the lock screen. 

I haven't made any changes to display or font .

You might try using theme park to alter the look of the notification bubbles. I think when I changed the quick panel look the lock screen notifications also changed. Go for less transparency.

Try the default theme

It's part of your theme setup. Try adjusting whatever way you've changed it from default.
