It seems like Samsung devs are taking their sweet time with Beta 3. We're 1 week away to be a month since Beta 2 was released. Hopefully this means a much more stable software, smoother experience and possibly new features shown on the Tips app.

Excited to try it out!

There's a section under the Tips app that shows One UI 5 and some of those features are not included in the current beta, like editing the lock screen from the lock screen itself by long pressing it.

I usually hide the tips app since most of the tips are super basic stuff I've known for a while.
Thanks

I think some official communication would be nice as well like " hey Samsung beta testers we are currently delayed with the next beta but we are fixing all the issues" something like that would be nice! But I've noticed Google is also quiet when it comes to deleyed software updates. I hope Samsung understands we won't be mad if they officially announce but keeping beta testers in the loop would be nice because the general public is not putting in support to test the BETAS like we are.

I agree. Little status updates are fun and informative.

Agreed. I installed beta 2 on August 25th. I didn't even get a notification about it in this app until August 30th lol

The S23 is supposed to be out early next year, with one site (Phone Arena) claiming later this year. AFAIK, the S23 line will also be using the UI 5.0 OS, so Samsung needs this latest iteration of the UI to be functioning top notch.

Considering Samsung phones have made big inroads in the US market (it already dominates outside of North America), I don't think they need a device with even minor issues. Especially considering how well Apple's latest iPhone is getting great reviews on latest software & it newer camera system.

The S23 from reading about so many of its leaked specs doesn't seem to be much better than the S22, like the S22 wasn't a great leap over the S21.
