Notification shade delayed

I'm getting some heavy delays bringing down my notification shade. Sometimes it seems as if my top bar never loads on the inner screen. Not sure if this is caused from home up

Same here, I'm finding it's a consistent issue on the inner display. It's not really been a problem for me on the cover display though.

Same cover display is fine

I switched back to nova to see if there was a difference, and just like you it is becoming slower and slower. I think restarts help

I'm noticing that this seems to be getting worse. It's also slowing down for some ui elements in Nova Launcher. I've tried One UI Home in case it was incompatibility with the new update, but that made no difference.
