Wasn't the original theme of One UI to be one hand accessible?? You could reach all of the necessary buttons with your thumb. That's what set One UI apart from all the others
Now One UI 6 is heading in the other direction.

If it's not working, submit an error report. That's part of testing beta.

The quick settings used to be much more friendly to one-handed use without having to activate one-handed mode.
