Voice commands no longer work in the car with android auto

When I try to activate the Google assisant it says microphone unavailable. This is only in Android auto by the way.

Strange mine works. Try clearing cache for Android Auto

I read that this is actually a bug in Android Auto, regardless if you're on the beta or not.
