There's an update to the QuickShare app on the Galaxy store (13.8.51.58) but when trying to send between an S24U running 8.5 and an S24U running 8.0 it instantly fails; it discovers the other phone and displays the icon but clicking on it does not display any status about connecting/sending and immediately goes into a failed state.

Additionally it appears this update adds support for apple devices but going into the settings and trying to disable the apple device support (it's on by default) gives a weird error message that it can't be disabled while a share is in progress. This happens even after rebooting the phone and accessing QuickShare only through the settings menu.

Reverting the QuickShare app to the version shipped with 8.5 fixes it but the Galaxy store keeps trying to install the broken update.
