Secure Folder Workaround

So since installing beta my Secure Folder (SF) app will no longer open beyond entering my PIN. I have discovered that I can still add items to the SF. I've found a workaround until Samsung squashes this bug.

Go into device Settings,

Click Apps,

Click Samsung App Settings,

Scroll down & click SF,

Enter your PIN which will bring you to SF Settings,

Under General tab click Apps,

From here you can click Gallery or My Files,

Then click Open at the bottom left.

You'll say least have access to your SF this way for now

Secure folder works correctly for me on beta, I just checked it.
I toggled it on, app appeared in app drawer, I opened app, entered password, it showed my secure folders apps etc, I clicked gallery and some private pics I have in there are fine.
No issues.

After installing beta or any other update I always do the clear cache thing in recovery mode. Rarely have issues.

I do the same after every update. That's didn't help me nor many others. It's def a bug.

My secure folder works fine on beta. Must be a hit and miss thing

Did you factory reset? Mine worked before I did a reset after the beta update.

Mine 2. All I did was restart the phone and it then worked

I had to install the beta twice while going back to stable in between. I had problems both times with secure folder and dual apps ( WhatsApp in particular). Secure folder took a few installs and uninstalls to get it to work properly

When you say "secure folder took a few installs", you mean the secure folder app itself or beta software?

I was having secure folder issues even after wiping caches multiple times, finally I backed up and did a hard reset and it's working fine now. Now to get everything the way it was😆🥺
