Shm mod removed

I just updated my 7 ultra watch to One UI8 and it has blocked my use of the SHM MOD app that allows me to use it to measure blood pressure. As an FYI to Samsung, this is the main reason I have the watch and won't be upgrading/buying the 8 Ultra watch unless this block is removed, or the application can in some way function for that purpose. I understand that "officially" the BP function is not supported in the U.S. by Samsung b/c of FDA approval status (still not clear on why this is still not possible), but blocking the workaround so many of us use isn't the answer. If you need to block the method the SHM MOD app uses to to allow the BP function, I get that too, but find some way to whitelist this app so it can continue to service a need that many people depend on. You removed the major benefit of the device for a huge number of people. Now I have to see if I can downgrade my current watch to Wear OS 7 somehow and make it useful again, otherwise I'll have to go purchase a device that serves my need and just dump Samsung watches altogether. I know it is unlikely this gets forwarded to the person/people that make decisions, but thought I would try.

Got Beta 2 with OS6/UI8 and SHM MOD with BP installs, but does not work on watch 7 classis.

Note to Samsung: Your pathetic approach towards loyal Sammy fans with miserable support of watchfaces ( nothing near what wathmaker once offered in terms of layers and active face) and now with taking away BP mod is making sure many linke me will walk away from your watch and phone. Way to go Samsung...

I couldn't agree more, we spend good money on their watches, phones, and other products, but it seems that does not matter to Samsung. 

It seems like they are more concerned with making the next latest and greatest product, but they refuse to either fix or get needed approval for functions that they currently have and are used successfully in other regions. 

Plus, to me, this is not a medical device, it is more of a monitoring tool to assist you in your Healthcare. It states very clearly on the Samsung website that this is not a feature to diagnose anything, to always contact your Healthcare provider. 

We can sit here all day and say, 'Do better Samsung', but it falls on deaf ears. They would rather lose customers instead of listening to us.

A big corporation like Samsung, afraid of the USDA, that is really sad. I bought the first galaxy watch for the BP. Then found out the US didn't have it but they didn't state that on the website. SHM MOD saved the day for us and now it has been wiped out. Come on Samsung, you and Google get your collective heads out of your assessment and fix this for your loyal customers. Otherwise you won't have them. BP was what we were counting on and you have been promising.
