Smart select not working

I've been having an issue when using my S-Pen and selecting the smart select feature, as it won't work in certain apps. Anyone else having an issue?

I've been having an issue with mine losing sync with my phone.
It reconnects if I reboot the phone.

No connectivity issues here. Try setting it to always stay connected

No issues with this. Just used it a few times a bit ago in various apps.
There are certain apps though that won't allow you to use smart Select due to security reasons like banking apps, the Starbucks app, and more.

Try wiping the cache partition of your device using recovery mode and then rebooting.
