Yeah I have to say this is absolutely ridiculous that they're pushing so many beta builds especially when there isn't any problems and they're not doing much when they put out a beta I think they're doing this on purpose to hold out to try to get people to buy the S26 phones and nothing will convince me otherwise there has never been this many betas as long as I've been doing this with so many little problems. And everywhere is reporting that this is absolutely ridiculous and there is no need for it and Samsung has no justification for doing it we may have two or three more? In the Galaxy S26 is already been rolled out with a stable version of what we're still testing in beta How is that possible for phones to have a stable version of what we're testing in beta How do you even do that it's like oil and water it doesn't make any sense I would love for someone to explain to me how they could have the stable version while we're still testing the beta for all the other phones That's why I believe it's purposeful for some reason because they're all more expensive above the 256 GB storage. That's why I won't be getting the S26 ultra I normally upgrade every year but not this time especially with the way that they're treating this beta they treat us like we don't matter, all take care about is money. Yes I like beta but feeling like we don't matter and them not doing anything to hurry it along shows me exactly what the company feels about their customers

Samsung doesn't care about you because they released a public beta? Would you rather they just release it after doing their internal test? If so, you should consider getting a pixel.

Them holding out on changing the version code from beta to stable to try and sell the s26 is some crazy conspiracies. If there was no beta and we were still on 8.0 then you might have an argument.

The s26 was built for 8.5, so it having its own "stable" version would make sense. No company is going to release a new product into a beta software.

No you misunderstood what I meant was this is a more betas than we've ever had before as far as I can remember and they normally don't make us wait this long to get the stable version there aren't that many issues with the current ones to warrant two or three more except that by the end of April or sometime in May That gives them plenty of time to have the s26s out with the stable version So if they have a stable version for that line why are they so slow and not consistent on sending the betas closer together so we don't have to wait and if you read what's going on in other places other countries are saying the same thing about it that it's redundant they're showing us they don't care about their customers and it seems like they're holding out on releasing a stable version so people will get the S26 because anything above 256 gigs Is double the price that it was for the s25s and I've never had a beta that it takes this long to get the stable version when it's already been released on the newest phone the s-26. This is one of the longest beta programs for not even a change of Android itself it's still based on the same Android version is 8.0 so it's not like it's some huge update that is completely changing the Android version. There's been hardly any issues with The past two or three betas Now they're going to release at least two more If not more so they can sell more s26s I'm not the only person to say this And people that get to pay the first in Korea are seeing this as well that they're dragging it out and it doesn't make sense and is taking way too long to get to a stable version when they already have a stable version on the s26s That is what I meant I didn't say because they release a beta that is not what my message meant

Plus you act like phone companies don't do stuff like that purposely hold out to get you to upgrade so you can get the stable version ASAP

Remember battery gate with Apple prime example forcing the batteries through software updates to not work So people had to upgrade to more recent iPhones and you think other phone companies won't do the same thing in different ways really?

Besides what the other commenter said, they are still fixing bugs. They're getting to the point where the particular bugs may only affect a small number of users, but it's nonetheless important (perhaps not critical, but important) that they address as many as possible before pushing the stable version out. As an example, I was experiencing the bug with Google Messages where I would check and read (and even reply to) a new message from a "Bubbled" contact, and the bubble would remain top-center on the screen instead of snapping to whichever side it was supposed to; this required killing at least that app's process to remedy. Not debilitating, or life-altering, but annoying to say the least. There were other bugs listed that were specific to certain apps (or even app features/settings) that, again, don't apply to every user, but obviously have been reported frequently enough for them to address them.

I imagine that you'd probably be one of the (irritating) boisterous, vociferous forum whiner crowd were they to miss something that affected your user experience, when it's really obvious that you might not need to be someone in the Beta Program to begin with. I would suggest that next UI version update cycle, maybe just stay on the stable release until the next stable release is pushed OTA. Do you really need this additional aggravation in your life? Lol

Have a great day! I hope everything else in your life is treating you well, and that you have a successful and prosperous future, friend!!!

Do you mind telling me what authority you come under to come to me and tell me your assumptions? Especially Jefferson county I am in a crowd of people. Did you make the rules for this beta program? I don't think anything about what you said it was funny You put lol at the end like you're cracking jokes left and right there's nothing joking about what you said If you don't like what I have to say why don't you stay off of beta testing next time? I simply echoed the sentiments of thousands of the users if you don't like that you can keep scrolling it's sad to see how many people think they have to put their two cents in where it's not even warranted or wanted. So the next time you have a comment to make like that trying to be all cute and lol and everything stop and think yourself for one logical second Is this going to matter? Obviously it didn't because I'm still here. Last I checked if you live in the United States you're guaranteed freedom of speech so if you have a problem with me speaking obviously that's not my problem. I despise it when people have something serious to say then you hide behind lols and assumptions about me. You don't know what I do. You don't know how often I do said action. You can giggle and lol all you want to, doesn't stop you from looking like a dunce hat. At least a dunce hat has more intelligence than you could ever hope to achieve in your entire life based on your words. What does that say about you that you go out of your way to attack someone for no reason? I think it's pretty self-explanatory. ๐Ÿ˜Š

You don't seem cut out for beta testing, I have made a lot of reports on each beta. Last one was about Samsung wallet when paying DHL duty import fees.

YOU may not notice bugs, but people do different things on their phones and that's why public betas are there. WE find the use case bugs and they resolve them if they can replicate the problem or see code that could cause issues.

What does the s26 have to do with anything? It's different hardware, it's not just a number. The software was designed for THAT hardware, and then they're fixing it to function well on different hardware..

Leave the beta dude, so much nonsense and I doubt you'll send reports that aren't berating the employees.

I understand that and if Samsung did not believe that I was cut out for betha testing, I guess I'd not be able to participate correct? Thankfully you don't make judgments for a whole company. I asked you know quite a bit more better than you credit for. Who asked you in the first place about whether I should be beta testing or not. Pretty sad when the company needs a mouthpiece from some nobody who is also doing beta testing. Hope you got your dress rewards from No hearts and no replies. Means no one agreed with or stood with what you said. But by all means excessively check your post. Probably in his Facebook or x, You act you probably believe like anything you say matters. I have freedom of speech because where I was born if you don't like that oh well. Don't come for me unless I call for you. And nobody ride out your chain nobody rattled your chain and said come for me. If you do that enough times if you'll find out they don't care either saving us both time and belief that I care what you or anyone else told you and thinks. I'm not here to make friends with people especially people that are nasty If act like you I don't want to have nothing to do with them. So the next time you open your mouth to attack someone remember you're no better off than they are and you probably made the same complaint or something similar in the past. You want this to turn into beta testing or it could take another couple of months before we get the same version although it does exist I seen on the Samsung 16s? That doesn't make sense If it's not existing why is the civil version on Android 16 but no other phone whatsoever? They could have tested it internally and released it as an update but just moved us up to 8.5 from 8.0. You're just like an apple fanboy in reverse. At least I'll say what nobody else will, at least I'll call the problem at their core at least I'll stay there not doing their previous customers well and I don't care about the consequences. At least I'm honest about what I think and feel and I don't try to pretty it up or sugarcoat it. So talk your talk all you want to. I have since last year backing up mine what do you have backing up yours? Think of enough people come at me and argue I'll change my mind or for the record I won't and I don't. I still stand by my original claim and that will not change understand? So you can keep your little opinions about what you personally think about a broad conversation piece and stop trying to make it selfish and make it about you because this post was not intended to be for anyone It was intended to say we're not going to take it anymore, or I can have a repeat of previous beta testing that I've been in. We're not going to be that excuses and lies but hey if you still want to believe hi that's up to you isn't it. Your foolishness is my pedestal. So for all intense and purposes keep playing vague and dumb and ignorant and like you know what you're talking about and learn your place cuz you apparently still don't know it if you're on your mouth like you are.
