Strange Android Patch Level Date for Latest Update

I have installed the last beta update on March 29, 2025. However, I have noticed that the android patch level shows as April 01, 2025. How is this even possible. When I installed the update, April 01, 2025 did not exist. So, either it was a mistake or it was intentionally done to assume all the security fixes to be deployed for April 01, 2025 was already included. But however we look at it, it doesn't make any sense. I hope in the future this kind of things will be taken care of.

Android security patches are finalized a couple weeks before their associated date, and Google partners get access to them then for testing. It's not unheard of for a manufacturer to release a security update labeled for a month that hasn't come yet. Samsung has even done it in previous betas. It's not a bug or a display issue, it's just how the naming and timeline work.

I installed it March 26 - the April 1 to which you refer is the security patch version. As Google and Samsung develop new security updates, they are bundled into one big patch that rolls out monthly (usually). The date merely indicates that you received the absolute latest security patch... before most users get it.

Sir I purchased Samsung s25, but security patch level date is 19 days earlier, does it mean that activation date is not accurate or my phone was repacked?
