The new update locked me out of my phone

After the update last night. My phone would not allow me in with my password. After trying to unlock remotely I realized that my find my phone was turned off even though I never turned it off. I was unable to sign into my phone this morning after many attempts. My password was somehow changed. I reset to factory and as it was setting up it read that someone was trying to factory reset my phone and asked for the password again. It still never worked. I signed in with Google.

Also, I can't report it because the option for media and files under permissions is not there!

Note: I booted into recovery mode and did repair apps. It didn't work. I still couldn't sign in.

Are you back into your phone e though after signing into Google?

Yes. I also had a backup.
