Typing in the message box gets blocked by keyboard

Noticed this since the beta 1  started that if I type in the message box for Teams or Google messages the keyboard blocks the view of what I'm typing.  I'll have to minimize the keyboard then tap the box again and the box will move up correctly and I can resume typing

Geez ... phone randomly rebooted as I was typing a reply to this post ...

Anyway, what keyboard are you using?

I ask because I use (always have, not just for the beta) GBoard, and at full height, and have yet to see it cover any other screen element.

If using another keyboard, might try GBoard and see how it goes

I have a similar issue with various apps. I type a search word and hit enter but the keyboard keeps popping back up and blocking the results.
