The only way I have been able to fix this when you are on HD screen resolution, display settings, screen resolution, toggle on WQHD, go back to gallery reapply wallpaper. Go back to screen resolution, toggle on HD.
I have some old apps that will only work in HD setting that I use all the time, I go back and forth with screen resolution
