When I wear my watch on my right wrist and have the water lock on and the buttons are to the right in order to unlock my watch I have to switch the button orientation to the left and then unlock it

Yes you do. The watch has no way of automatically knowing which wrist you have it on unless you tell it by changing settings

Hello @BradGiese23,

Thank you for your feedback on wrist arrangement.

Although Watch does not have the sensor to detect the R/L configuration, you can still manually change your wrist wearing position through Wearable app settings.

Wearable App > Settings > General > Orientation

I was also confused by this. Thank you.

I came across https://academized.com/empowerworkers Academized’s “Empower Workers” page and thought it was really inspiring. It talks about how they support workers and promote fair treatment. I think it’s great that they care about their employees and the people they work with. If you want to know more about their values, check this out.
