Personally, I find it very frustrating that Samsung split the combined notification/quick tiles into two separate swipes. I use my quick panel nearly as much as I check my notis, and going to the top right to do so is frustrating. Even more, when trying to access notis while an app is open, I frequently open the quick tile panel instead.

I have notis off except for the most urgent of items, but I guess I can understand that most users get a barrage of notifications all day every day and will appreciate the full page, and very few limit theirs to urgent notis only like I do.

I'm also not crazy about the app drawer changing to one big list versus pages, maybe that can be reverted in settings idk.

Lineage OS with Android 15 on my other phone when you click the "time" from the noti panel, it goes straight to the alarm page in the clock app... Now that's a change I could get behind.

The camera update looks snazzy, battery life seems great so far also.

I do like that you can set the volume for all alarms as one or separately, and that you can group alarms. I don't like the new icons for clock and calculator; they're two staple apps I find it silly to make it harder to find them by changing the icon, no matter how trivial.

Overall, I strongly dislike the change to the notification panel and may look to going back to a launcher app, something I haven't done in a very long time.

I'm really hoping Google knocks it out of the park with their custom processor in this years upcoming pixel device, Samsung continues to stray further and further from what I value in a device whether it be decreased customization, lack of privacy, or slow OS and security updates; I'm ready to ditch Google play and Samsung services entirely and go with Graphene OS.

Edit: The icon for the "Signal" app notifications is definitely broken on the noti panel, it's not full size but was before the update. Looks very weird.

You can combine them to put it like before, so they give the option to choose better. 1742219095422.jpg

Thank you for this! Going to go change it now. I wonder if that'll make my notis bigger again, my message notis from signal are very small and seem to have barely a preview compared to before, but maybe it's only a smaller font and the same amount of content. I'll have to look for that option as well. Thanks again!

Edit: Just made the change, much better! That toggle is hidden pretty well šŸ¤£

I love that you can have the quick panel and notifications separate. I am enjoying the look and animations. I don't have any complaints about new features. I absolutely love what you can do on the home screen now. Battery was horrible first two days but today mine is ba,k to what it was like before.

I love it so far battery life is still going strong and the new swipe up for all apps is very smooth. And I'm a huge fan of the notification panel and the ai features are great as well.

So far it is awesome. No issues. My biggest concern was connectivity with my le audio enabled hearing aids, and I am definitely happy camper.

only thing that I don't like is the fact that we can't have more than 3 notification icons on the status bar hope this becomes a good lock feature
