DiscussionsWiFi 7 isn't going to be certified until mid to late 2024. There is no point in enabling it now while WiFi 7 spec is still in draft stage.
Qualcomm 7800 only supports the draft spec, there is no card or modem right now that "fully" supports WiFi 7 since the spec has not been finalized, so by definition that is not possible.
I know some companies have already released WiFi 7 routers that work on the draft spec, but these are just marketing gimmicks right now since WiFi 7 spec hasn't been finalized and can still change substantially, which would make these routers unstable and not reliable for WiFi 7 when it's actually finalized.
Because WiFi 7 won't be certified till late next year, I don't even think S24 will have WiFi 7. The first Samsung phone to have it will probably be S25 in 2025.

DiscussionsAs I said, there are already phones and routers with WiFi 7 but they are only working on the draft spec since WiFi 7 spec is not finalized yet.
And no, it's not a good idea to have devices working on the draft spec. If you remember the whole fiasco with draft-n and draft-ac, the chipsets that supported those drafts had so many problems once the drafts were finalized. It was a huge problem in the industry. We should not repeat the same mistakes again by supporting WiFi 7 drafts.
Wait till WiFi 7 is finalized so chipsets can implement the final spec and not some half-assed version with each company's own ideas of what should fill the rest of the spec.
