APK installer not working

Cannot install APKs - yes the permissions are correct, it tryna to pop up the installer then crashes. Tried installed from MyFiles and just from my chrome downloads.

Did you turn on the auto blocker in the settings?

Or maybe it's android 14 in general

I have the same problem as OP. Auto Blocker is off and the problem still persists.

Seems like the APK was made for an older version of Android. Try another APK with a newer target version.

Happens to me as well. With a shiny new app apk. Built for min ssk 21, target sdk 33. Autoblocker is off, Google Play Protect is off. Device protection/av is off.

I noticed this as well, however when I did it the installer crashed but still installed the application.

You can use "Files by Google" as a temporary workaround.
