I've tried to reinstall the app, reset it, uninstall and re-configure. Nothing has worked.

There are dozens of posts about this issue already. Turn off your SIM card, force close Google Messages, clear the cache, turn SIM card back on. Open messages. It will connect.

My disconnects sometimes. I just switch the sim off, then right back on. Fixes for me.

Seen multiple posts and tried every method. While it provides a temporary fix in the end it has been easier to just turn off chat features. I have already submitted logs and test everytime messages or carrier services update. I would hope at this point samsung has plenty of logs to identify the issue. I have a s22u on tmobile and a s22 on at&t. I am able to always text between those for tests but anyone who I text on t-mobile it eventually stops working. I finally turned it off as I was missing texts that were important.

I think it honestly has to do with, albeit not a 100% sure how/why exactly yet, but with the way new Samsungs, not just on T-Mobile, AT&t as well, have recently been routing their APN settings. (Access Point Network) I've been rooting for many years and seen many a phone, including many access point Network generic settings.. And while it may not be the direct cause for any one single issue, it has affected quite a few different things compared to generic APN settings.. I've read newer phones from T-Mobile for instance were routed towards the unused Sprint towers to make up for some lag on the network during 5g rollout.. While it's not proxied or ported, at the very bottom GID settings.. are usually only set for mvnos.
And I'm missing the TMobile MMS APN as well. There's usually two one for the main T-Mobile and one for the T-Mobile us mms.. One does technically cover both, but were generically always there.. without Root I can only see so but I can say it has affected connection in areas that barely have it to begin with. Compared to the open APN..
