Can I disable their access to wifi while they're not running and enable it vice versa? I feel like this would save a lot of battery. With the Connectivity Labs, I'm seeing a few apps popping up accessing the network even though they're not running, and I want to disable their ability to do so.
You can disable "Background Data Usage" for an app via Settings > Connections > Data Usage > Wi-Fi data Usage > Select the app > toggle Allow background data usage to off.
