Call Backgrounds

I know we can set 1 call background, however is it possible to set individual call backgrounds per contract?

Yes you can
Go to contacts, select the contact you want to set backgroud for, lower right hand corner select More (3 dots) and edit background.

I did this and it worked great. Is there a way to change messaging backgrounds for each contact?

Yes. If you're using Samsung message app. Once again it's a Three dot menu option once you're in the message thread. "Customize Chat Room" is what you're looking for.

True but after awhile it will change back to the gray background

Hmmm. I know if I delete the conversation thread,it won't remember the background I chose for it originally... But haven't had it switch randomly.
