Encryption?

Does anybody notice there is no encryption in Google Messages when you chat with an iPhone user? I have an unlocked S26 Ultra on the AT&T network with UI9 beta. Also, I have a Fold 7 on the AT&T network with UI 8.5, and messages between iPhones and the Fold 7 are fully encrypted.

me & my wife also have a 17 PM & when i send her pictures i've taken on my s26u or just send her texts it shows the lock for encryption for me

The encryption on the iPhone side of things was those running Beta, I don't know if it has rolled out to everyone yet.

The latest iPhone software 26.5.1 implemented full RCS chat encryption. I see this encryption on my Fold 7 with UI 8.5, but I don't when I receive/send messages on my S26 Ultra to the same people with iPhones. Also, people on iPhones do not see the encryption lock on their iPhones when they receive/send messages to my S26 Ultra.

i actually do see the end to end on my iPhone too but for whatever reason its not with every conversation
