Questions@-CROW- That post made in the S25 community had no other exceptions or context added as in your most recent reply here, so it appears that a device ending with a U and used a Verizon sim, was unlocked and was part of the beta 8.5, that is not possible. It implies that it is current in that state, no past tense, with a screenshot that is incorrect without context. Google will not provide a clear result as it meshes multiples searches into one. No where is there an mention of T-Mobile. Explaining the T-Mobile gives the S25 comment some validity, but since it was not in it, it is not valid. The search result in the screenshot is a generic result from a device sold by a carrier, or a third party, with its firmware that has been unlocked by the carrier. One cannot buy an unlocked version from a carrier without meeting certain conditions; one being the device is paid in full, the second is that the device used the carrier's services for a minimum period (like 50days etc) before being unlocked after being paid in full.

Questions@-CROW- And I hope that such misinformation is not passed on again then made out as explained when it was not. Ngl here, the interaction on your part has been disingenuous as having been explained the original comment screenshotted, and has not been edited or expounded upon in the S25 community post, that is the issue, not what was explained here. And in any case where such comments are made, should be called out as incorrect. I expect no less for my own comments.

QuestionsIf you continue to believe there are inaccuracies, you retain the option to escalate this concern to management. The content of the post is readily comprehensible to most individuals.
On a separate note, I have recently upgraded my router to Wi-Fi 7. Therefore, any older images depicting Wi-Fi 6 are now outdated. I have also upgraded my internet service. Additionally, I am considering the acquisition of a new sound system. Furthermore, I intend to transition to the S26U upon its release.

QuestionsHello,
Thank you all for sharing your thoughtful feedback.
Once you've changed your carrier from Xfinity to Google fi, your device may or may not restart for network provisioning. At this phase, your beta registration status may change as there was a network update.
If your updates become unavailable (showing "processing to join beta...") please let us know via community board or DM, and we will update your status.
Thank you for your contribution to beta program.
Regards,
One UI Beta Team
