How do I remove the fingerprint icon that appears when I go to unlock my phone is it possible to hide it at all?

Why would you want to hide the indicator for the fingerprint sensor which is showing you exactly where to place your finger to unlock your phone?

I know where to place my finger when I am unlocking my phone dont need to indicator to show me and just dont like how it looks on my screen dont really care for it being there

Your post gave me an idea, why not include 2 or 3 different options than a fingerprint to indicate where the sensor is?

You can turn it off if you want to!

Go to settings, type in the search box, fingerprint, put in your pin, go to show icon. Tap on it and toggle on NEVER!

If your Fingerprint is still showing on lock screen after changing the setting to never from "Show icon when screen is off" (Under Fingerprints setting), we kindly ask you to submit an error report through the Samsung Members app on your device:

1. Open Samsung Members.
2. Navigate to One UI Beta Program > Beta Feedback.
3. Attach any relevant screenshots (if possible).
4. Ensure "Send system log data" is checked, then submit the report.

Important: Please submit the report within 15 minutes of reproducing the issue for accurate log data collection.
