Ghost notifications

I receive a notification sound every 5 minutes, yet no notifications. Nothing shows in notification history log, and no icons appear when the sound is played. Only had this issues as of 8/12.

I've been having this issue sometimes there's actually a notification when it rings but most of the time there's nothing there

I noticed this happening sometimes also I'm pretty sure I figured out why if you catch the notification quick enough you will see that it could be scanning your device for security, wifi etc.

There isn't a notification at all, not even a quick one. If there was it would show up in the logs.

Same here. I have not been able to figure out what causes the sounds/notification

Do you have Notification reminder turned on? If so that could be your reason

Yes, I believe it is a OneUI bug at the moment that sends the reminder even though it's not meeting the requirements to.

Setting-Notifications-Advanced Settings and towards the bottom.
