Just curious....

I'm seeing a lot of people RAVE about good lock and the locksmart app. I've tried it..... is it just me.... or is it just a quick link to the native settings? I'm not noticing any capabilities above n beyond what is already there

All modules ad extra features to your phone.in the old days you had to mod it etc... no longer needed since samsung added this for power users. They all are great

The Good Lock app with its various plugins provide far more customization and settings changes than the vanilla Settings app. Theme Park is a near must for me as I can use specific contrasting color for clarity as I prefer black background wall paper. I suggest trying them app out for a time and judge it then. If there is one app I think is a must have though, it is Good Guardians (separate from Good Lock) and use (especially) the app booster and thermal guardian plugins.

There are some modules that are not working currently, HomeUp and LockStar specify.

HomeUp is amazing when it gets updated for Ui 8.5. I especially like that you can make you grid screen larger, I use 7×7, I turn off my favorites, so I don't have a dock on both of my screens. You can download icon packs and apply them using Themepark, customize your Quick Panel and so much more.

A few examples of what you can do. All have been done using different modules from Good Lock. Lockscreen and AOD is LockStar ( unplugged, sided loaded the apk.)
