This is normal. This is due to safety net not passing since beta builds are not certified through Google. This will be resolved once the Android 12 beta is moved to stable.

I'm sure this is not intentional. This is Beta and my Google Pay does not play nice with the new beta as well. This is one of the drawbacks to using Beta. But things will improve as samsung continues to update the beta.

It's a beta release and not an official release so it doesn't pass the security check. Happens every beta.

Should be mentioned in the onboarding docs, IMO.

I don't have any issues with Google play, even was able to force Google play update to latest version 27.0.15-21

Hello @lrosenman ,

During beta program, the software is not yet certified by Google, and therefore Google Pay and other secure services may not work. We apologize for the inconvenience and will post a notice once it becomes certified by Google. You may try again at that time.

Regards

One UI Beta Team.

That fact should be made clear as part of the onboarding process, IMO.

Yes, this should be mentioned up front before installing the Beta. Pay had worked for me for the past week or so since "upgrading" to the beta, but Pay suddenly stopped working this morning when I was paying for some things in the shop.

Luckily I had my card with me, otherwise I would've been stuck.
