When I play my music whether it's YouTube music or Spotify or regular Samsung Music, it does not show on the display bar on the top only when I swipe down. Is there any way to fix this?

not that I'm aware of. I've seen other reports that people are experiencing the same thing. controls for yt music are also missing on the lockscreen for me

Yt music controls load fine for me but for some reason it isn't following dark mode.

In any case have you cleared cache of your phone on recovery?

okay. so turning on notifications for the app brought back the controls. but same for me not following dark mode

Hello @xbuffaloalix ,

Please toggle notification settings for the apps you are  not able to see notification for. You may also clear cache of device with steps below.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Side key.
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
6. Press Side key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Side key to select.
8. When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Side key to restart the device

thanks. enabling notifications fixed the controls. but controls are not following dark mode theme
