Now bar

How do you close the now bar? The music player stays there even when I'm not using it.

I had to restart my phone to remove it.

I've found if you open Task Changer and tap Active Apps (top left) then tap Stop it will disappear

Pull down on the notification shade and long press on the media player. You should an option to remove it from there

Tried the active apps button and hit close but the now bar remains there. Only way I could remove it was to restart my phone

You can turn off the Now bar feature from Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Now bar > Disable "Music", "Modes and Routines" .

I would prefer the it just doesn't show when there's no music playing actively. I still want it when there is something going. The proposed solution is to completely turn it off. Perhaps instead we should make it more intuitive. Regards
