Phone freezes when I make a call

Whenever I make a call my phone freezes for a couple of seconds then it resumes thrn it freezes again. Has this happened to anyone? Please help!

If you're using the stock Samsung phone (dialer) app, might try the Google Phone app.

I had issues with the Samsung Phone app, even to the point it would *not" dial out!
