PLEASE put the search bar back to the top of give the option. I had Samsung Droids my entire life and I went to an iPhone for a single year last year and hated it so much. The ability to customize is what made your Androids superior.
A MAJOR reason I came back to the Droid is the placement of the search bar. In moving it and not allowing customization to change it back, at the very least, you've impacted a major feature for me in a very negative way. It’s not simply a case of adaptability. I have neurodiversity and severe arthritis. The search bar at the top helped with my ability to use the search bar due to the greater comfort for my hands with it at the top AND it prevented my hitting other buttons. Now I'm constantly hitting other buttons. It's a nightmare.
All of the new updates do not improve functionality. The way things are visually on the Droid is what makes it superior to the iPhone and easier for many people like me with neurodiversity. Having the option of a phone that isn't the iPhone is completely lost when this update has basically made the Samsung Galaxy phones have the same limitations as the iPhone in flexibility and ease of seeing options and changing them.
I may as well go back to the iPhone. PLEASE listen to the MANY comments and feedback about this update and give us better accessibility and options. Otherwise there's no point in having a Galaxy or any Samsung Androids if they all are like this now. I've struggled using my phone since the update a few days ago- and it did it automatically when my phone wasn't set to do that. Absolutely awful. Everything that made your phone superior are practically gone. LISTEN to your customers or lose them.
