You can change the icon of the secure folder and even the name of it. Everything in there is kind of in a container that's separated from your regular apps. Photos in there don't show up in your regular gallery. The only annoying thing is your Google account and Samsung account don't automatically go in there so if you sign into your Google account, you get the regular emails about a new device. It's basically another account on your phone like on a PC.
You can also have it hidden, so it doesn't show up in your apps list. You can turn on or off background data/usage. Make it to where notifications are obscured or not show up at all. It's neat.
