Wear OS update

The Wear OS update is out for Galaxy Watch 4. I just updated the bride's watch, however my phone says that my Watch software is up to date. Any idea whether my participation in this beta might impact my access to the software update for my watch? That's the only difference between my setup and hers.

I had no issues updating my Watch 4...what error are you receiving?

I was getting "cannot copy to watch. Try again later". So I attempted again and it said "copying" for like 30 minutes with no estimated time remaining, so I rebooted the watch and it finally worked after several hours of attempts

That was going to be my next suggestion...glad it updated for you.

You have to turn the watch on "Airplane Mode," Turn on "WiFi, then update while using a WiFi connection. It should work then.

...and the Wear OS update just landed. still an oddity, though, that the bride gets it yesterday and mine comes today. the only difference between the two is that she has the GW4 and I have the GW4 Classic. fwiw, we're in north Texas (DFW area).
