Questions
Is this a thing the UI does? I feel like if i click away into something and want to go back to exactly what I was looking at before it all disappears. I kind of have to gamble on what post, video, or tab is more worth while to check out because I know everything else is just going to dissappear the second I want to revisit what I was previously looking at.
I wish there was a setting to have a more 'static' experience when loading content even if it uses a little more memory.

You might try Good Guardians app by Samsung.
Memory Guardian has a customization for background apps as shown in the screenshot.
See if this helps.

Also, check the battery optimization settings in the phone settings to see if it a certain app is set as optimized, restricted or unrestricted.
Restricted apps will quickly close in the background.
Lastly, if there is a particular app that you wish to remain open in the background indefinitely, try Microsoft Launcher. You can toggle an app to be locked :locked: open or not. It's a great third party launcher with lots of features that the stock Samsung launcher does not have. Otherwise, the options listed will do well for the issue described.
