Don't freak out, the February security patch on phones running A/B partition seamless updates have had wipe cache partition removed from the recovery menu. It won't be in the channel logs either, Samsung is lacking with information in their channel log descriptions. Pet peeve forever!

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your observation.

If you notice changes in recovery menu behavior after a software update and believe it may be unintended, we kindly encourage submitting an Error Report through Samsung Members so the team can review the device logs and configuration details.

Since screenshots may not be possible in recovery mode, please provide a brief description of what you are observing when submitting the report.

Your feedback helps ensure system behaviors are reviewed and aligned appropriately during the Beta period.
Thank you for your continued participation.

Regards,

One UI Beta Team

What you need to do is explain why you are removing it from our phones in the first place. It's not a beta issue only if it's removed from phones not doing the beta. You are forcing things on the customers that are helping your company. Not a good look at all

That's a question for Samsung that will not be answered. With seamless updates being an A/B partition only one side using for installation the other side runs the OS. They switch sides every month. If one side fails, the other side has a working OS. This way you can rollback to a working OS until a fix for the corrupted partition.

To be fair, I only wiped my cache partition one time during this beta cycle and in all honesty, it was out of boredom, not necessity.

Regardless, I am not fond of this change whatsoever. If I, the user/owner of the device decide I want to wipe the cache partition, I should be able to do so using the method that has always been available.

Wow there's no reason it should be gone. I'm S25 Ultra on T-Mobile and I still have it so I think it's a bug in the beta for some people. Hope this helps anyone who lost it. It's definitely not supposed to be gone. I hope no one else loses it and I hope I don't in beta 6 that I'm still waiting for

No one on Beta has had it removed yet. It was removed on the S25 series S25FE and now the Fold and Flip7 and 6 series with the February security patch.
