Back button intermittently not working in Facebook app

I just noticed this today. If I restart the phone or force close the app, it works right for a few minutes, then stops working again. This issue isn't happening on my non-beta S22 Ultra, only my s23 Ultra.

Same for my me, my mom, and husband. My mother and I both have a Samsung  Galaxy S23ultra, and hubby has Galaxy S21. It's super annoying. 🙄

Joined beta for FB app and back button now works.
Should be fixed soon for non beta then I would think.

S22 Ultra with One UI Beta, having the same issue. Seems to be a Facebook problem rather than an android issue. It's also happening on my daughters Motorola. It only happens with the Facebook app and only on certain posts.

I had the same issue, but I think it's now fixed. I went into my Facebook app settings, force stopped the app, went to the play store and updated the app. Problem seems to be fixed.

The solution for me was this below:

Settings > Apps > Facebook > Appear on top (turn it on and press back to save it)

Open Facebook and check if back button works fine.

After, go to step 4 and turn off the "Appear on top".
