I am currently using the Galaxy S23 and the overnight battery drain has not improved with the Android 14. Overnight from 11:30pm - 7:00am the battery drains 4%. I believe Samsung needs to focus more on the optimization of the battery at idle, to me losing 4% when the phone is unused is a waste of energy and the overnight battery drain should between 1% - 2% and it is possible because I am using another phone and the overnight battery drain is 1%.

You would need to put your phone into airplane mode so it is not doing any updates or notifications in the background. Turn off GPS and Bluetooth.
All of these run in the background and 4% is not bad considering.

Because there's much less happening on that phone I bet. Are they set up the same? Always on Display will suck it out of your Samsung for example. And you're doing fine anyway. I lose more like 15% overnight.

Beta software usually drains the battery much faster than a final release due to all of the compiling in the background.
