I think this would be another good ideas for privacy and just for letting users what's actually going on. Maybe when your location is being accessed by an all, a blue dot will show up like it does with the camera and mic. While on that topic I'd love to see the color for the mic be orange while the camera remains green.
That idea is awesome. But, it will probably be constantly on, if your location settings are always on for Google or any other "family/mutual tracking" apps. If there is an "off" toggle, as @Ryan891 suggested, that would be perfect.
