I like the new emojis overall. They're not perfect, but I personally vastly prefer them to the previous designs. They look much higher quality and more premium across the board, especially the hand signals. That said, the crying emoji 😠looks fine when viewed on a larger scale, but when viewed inline with small text (as emojis most often are) the expression is difficult to make out. I'm not an artist so I can't say exactly what it is, but something is just off about it.
Overall, solid 8/10 on the emoji redesigns, most of them look better than their previous iterations.
