This should be a safety feature, having the screen auto dim should be a feature when opening up Samsung wallet, it will insure that nobody can look at any credit card information or any sensitive data.
Well... When using Samsung Wallet, it only displays the last 4 digits of the card... nothing more. So your "sensitive data" is safe!
For the dim, you can already do it yourself. Create a rule in Modes and Routines that anytime using the Samsung Wallet app, to dim the screen to your desired level of brightness.
