Hey everyone!
Iā€™d like to bring up an idea that could improve multitasking on Samsung devices: Improved RAM Management in One UI 7.0. While One UI is already quite efficient, further optimization in how RAM is managed could lead to smoother performance, especially on devices with limited memory.

This improvement would ensure that apps run more efficiently in the background and that users can switch between apps seamlessly without slowdowns or app reloading. It would be a game-changer for those who rely on multitasking or use resource-intensive apps.

Why it would be beneficial:

Better multitasking: Apps and tasks would stay active longer, reducing the need for reloads.

Smoother experience: More efficient RAM use means less lag and stuttering.

Performance boost: Especially for devices with lower RAM, this would keep everything running at its best.

Optimizing RAM management could make devices feel faster, even as more apps and processes run in the background. What do you all think? Iā€™d love to hear your thoughts on improving performance in this way!

Hello,

Thank you for bringing up this great suggestion.

Optimized RAM management is a key factor in ensuring smooth multitasking and overall system performance, especially for users who frequently switch between apps or run resource-intensive tasks.

Your points about reducing app reloads, improving responsiveness, and enhancing performance on devices with lower RAM highlight why this could be a valuable enhancement. Samsung continuously works on optimizing memory management, and user feedback like this helps guide future improvements.

While we canā€™t confirm any changes at this time, weā€™ll make sure this suggestion is shared with the relevant teams. If other community members have thoughts on this, feel free to join the discussion.

Thanks again for your input and for contributing to the Beta program.

Regards,
