Expanded media player in landscape mode

When phone is in landscape mode there is no option to expand the media player. They should add a option to expand it while in landscape.

I think it's because there is less vertical space while in landscape. But it would be nice to have the ability to maximize it peruse with the little expand arrow.

I think they should do something like this where the quick panel is all on one side while the notifications are on the other.
