Samsung message + Private Share

Yes there is ...

I use Private Share irrespective of a chat app.

For example, I want to share a photo or document with my wife ... I'm NOT gonna use a chat app so I can use Private Share. I'm simply gonna tap on the image or document (etc) and tap Private Share. Firing up a chat is an extra step in some scenarios.

If they incorporate it in the chat you can simply do it that way as well. Additionally, it saves extra memory on our non-SD card phone

Private share is a feature that is more similar to Wi-Fi Direct file transfer than a Messaging app. Private share does offer its own functionality of sharing not only through messaging app but also  to share via other apps on the device.

Most users do not use Samsung Messages. In most countries other than the US, Google Messages is the default messaging app. Even in the US, there are many users using Google Messages instead. Having it locked only to Samsung Messages would not work or fit Samsung's vision.
