Samsung needs to improve their camera processing. On the galaxy s25, 12mp is just not that good. Even 50mp mode almost seems grainy. When comparing an iphone 12 pro, Galaxy s25, pixel 1, essential phone ph-1, and an asus zenfone 6 in daylight, the best photo goes to the zenfone 6 in 48mp mode. honestly between the s25, 12 pro and pixel 1, its somehow almlst negligible. S25 pulls ahead but the sensor and/software has to change.

When I had the s22 ultra it has amazing quality and processing at any distance. Used to love filming on my galaxy but now I dont due to grainy images and not that great of processing. Bring back the greatness of the ultra things are underwhelming for the price point.

Indeed, I also observed this. I own the ultraS25, however, the images appeared superior on my S22 ultra. My second device the Pixel 9a has been the most effective picture-taking phone I have owned. I believe this is more of a software issue. Google has not released the camera application to other devices.
