Screen timeout

Suggest that the screen doesn't time out when watching videos from the gallery or when editing. When watching a video, the screen times out. It also times out when editing videos. Makes it really hard. Same goes for watching in the browser, screen times out. Maybe add a switch to not time out on certain apps or situations?

To extend the screen timeout duration, adjust the display settings. Alternatively, the Samsung Display Assistant application offers granular control, enabling customized timeouts for individual apps and a quick settings toggle for continuous screen display.1740581440955.jpg1740581625806.jpg

Hello,

Thank you for your suggestion.

As per @userlQcCM1wRc8 's Tip, you can download "Galaxy Display Assistant - Beta" on Galaxy Store that could help you set your screentime out for certain apps, but we will forward your suggestion to the relevant team for further discussion as a default Display settings.

Thank you for your participation in Beta program.

Regards,

So i have to extend my overall screen timeout or install yet another app? This wasn't an issue with oneui6, can we go back to that then? Seems very inconvenient to install a mesh of apps just to get the u.i. to behave as it is supposed to or as it used too. This is not acceptable to me. I shouldn't have to download a bunch of apps just to get my phone to behave properly. This beta is being poorly implemented. These are stock apps that time out during use. Photo/video editor, video playback from gallery, chrome browser, samsung browser ect... They should not be timing out while in use. And i shouldn't have to download apps to resolve. Ridiculous....
