Back in 2016, Google introduced "seamless updates" which made upgrading and security updates an easy background process.
On the next upcoming build of OneUI 3.0 - Android 11 Beta reconfigure the software on the solid state partitions in such a way to enable "Seamless Updates" moving forward into 2021. I'm hoping that the final build will have the features so it can be on par with Android 11 vision.
This would make users of your Note 20 / Ultra very happy.
