I appreciate the continued refinements in the One UI beta, particularly the enhancements to the lock screen and the Now Bar. However, I’d like to suggest an additional customization option for the Now Bar’s appearance to improve consistency and aesthetics.
Currently, the Now Bar features a distinct colored background, while the quick action apps at the bottom of the lock screen utilize a blurred effect without added color. This contrast feels visually inconsistent, and the colored Now Bar can appear out of place, especially when paired with certain wallpapers or themes.
To improve user experience, I propose adding an option to:
1. Remove the Now Bar’s colored background and replace it with a uniform blur effect, similar to the quick action apps.
2. Allow users to toggle between color and blur, giving them more control over the appearance of their lock screen.
This would provide a cleaner, more cohesive design while maintaining Samsung’s signature customization flexibility. I believe this small change would greatly enhance the overall aesthetics of One UI.
