It would be helpful when I use my microphotography phone attachment to take super close-up pictures. Even the gentlist touch of my phone's screen is enough to throw it out of focus. Being able to just say "snap" (or "click" or "shoot" or whatever word you choose) to trigger the shutter would save a lot of frustration.
